I wanted to give Golden Freddy a proper goodbye and not just cut him out and replace him like that. I felt it would be kinda cute for him to prepare Monty for this new role in his life of keeping someone happy. Me XD But honestly this could go for anyone if their new favorite character is Monty(or anyone). Just replace Goldie with whoever else used to be your favorite. Seen people doing this on TikTok and I wanted to do it. Goldie's been my comfort character for these past few years and I appreciate him so much and will always love him. He will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart. But like said in the comic, people change. Feelings change. And Monty is new and exciting for me. And I just love him for him. Something clicked and I knew Monty was my new favorite character. Honestly always thought Goldie would be my favorite till I died but I guess not. But that's okay. Change is a good thing most of the time. In this case, it is a good thing. I can start a new "life" with Monty and let Goldie "rest".

Again, I will always love Goldie, but Monty.. Monty changed me XD Literally hated him for like 2 days then fell in love with him XD

But thank you Goldie for the memories :')

Goldie will not disappear, he'll still be around to visit randomly.

Ain't gonna lie though, teared up a couple times while doing this XD IT'S NOT THE END. IT'S THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING NEW. CALM DOWN.

But teared up cause there was days where I.. Felt horrible and holding my plushy of Goldie made me feel better. I was always happy when I used him in SFM which was.. A lot.. XD there was never a moment I hated when I used him. And now it's like that with Monty. Dude brings me happiness. LOVE HIM. Okay I'll shut up XD
