Eh...not too much of a fan of Riku's haircut unless he's in his new clothes. But his new clothes are awesome!

It seems fun to be jumping around aimlessly and even on walls....And playing as Riku would be really nice, something we practically never do unless in Chain of Memories. But I personally don't like his haircut; I hate it when a chara has a haircut, especially if it is male, since 98% of males have short hair, so the long haired ones need to continue with long hair. I didn't see reason for him cutting his hair that much short - though I can understand his reasons if they are the same as, for example, Ramza Beoulve from Final Fantasy Tactics, who cut his hair because he wanted to leave the past behind -, it just....isn't what he is. One of the things that makes Riku Riku is his long hair. Him with a hair as short as that just...doesn't fit. I don't understand, Square Enix....would you ever want to cut Sephiroth's hair? Or Cloud's? Or Tifa's? Most certainly not. Then why Riku's?

BUT THEN AGAIN! My childhood obsession w/ kindom hearts two led to my aunt stealing my ps2, and my parents want to by me a new one, a ps3, but my first "grown up" videogame console was a ps2, so I want that one.

The bandage on Sora's nose is a nice touch. I especially love the glow effect you put in Riku's eye~
And in regards to the haircut:
Riku's haircut fits him extremely well. What a lot of people neglect to realize after spazzing out about how he lost his sexy bishounen long hair is that this is Riku. It was confirmed that he cut it almost immediately after returning to the islands, and probably for obvious reasons:
1. He spent over a year hiding and protecting Sora from within the shadows while suffering with Ansem SoD still within him. That doesn't exactly speak "I can go out in public without a care in the world."
2. If it's always been short, then most likely he likes it that way, and the only reason it grew out was because he was unable to get it cut.
3. Cutting hair symbolizes a new beginning in East Asian cultures. Riku's trying to leave all of his past mistakes behind. He knows that he can't change the past, but the future is bright and inviting and he can face it head on.
Personally, I think he looks great. It's just hair after all.

This picture is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen! I mean, I would buy this. Sora's little band-aid and Riku's eyes... just perfect!
They were sooo cute as children. Riku must think so too since he cut his hair back to that length. I hope it means good things for him, because when he was little he was so clearly the Chosen One it was scary. Too bad short hair doesn't suit him much as an adult...
