Just my Reaper (Lim), sitting on the cliff and looking down at the River.

In my story, the River is where souls go to get recycled. Pretty much the River Styx, but it's GIGANTIC. There's no getting to the other side of it, there's no ferryman.

Souls that arrive there try to swim across, thinking that it's the other side, when in fact it's just preparing them for another round in the cycle of reincarnation. The only time they get to the "other side" is when they are put into another body.
