Less bitchy? In what way? He whined, had emotional outbursts and cried at least just as frequently. They were both equally a mess, except that Kylo wasn't given as many dumb lines and direction as Anakin - it's an unfair comparison, and especially if you compare Kylo with Anakin before he turned to the dark side.
Both Anakin and Kylo lacked the confidence, the terrifying presence and the style of Darth Vader. Emotional teenagers, essentially, is what comes to my mind when I saw their performances.
Initially Kylo seemed like a perfect predecessor to Darth Vader; that opening combat scene when he demonstrated a strong grasp of the force, and eluded that confidence; that was awesome. But the moment he took off the mask and revealed what kind of person he was, he lost a lot of that vibe.

Even though this is super-inaccurate to Kylo Ren's Actor's face, he looks a heck of lot better like this than he does in real life. Not that my opinion matters, but I approve of the changes, although I think if you'd been more accurate, the way you draw facial features would have made him look just as good. I love the stylization of the drawing, with the really sparse ink marks and letting the background provide most of the color and shading. It looks like you just used white and black for this, with variations in opacity to get your different shades (although the face shades looks like a pinker version of the background. This is a really great piece and I would love to see your process for it. Do you have any tutorials floating around for drawings like this one?

I love the shades and lighting in this, the swooping and folding stock in his cloth and hair and the shadow forms on his face. Awesome. Can't wait to see this, waiting for it to come out for rent so I can see it with all my friends and family, maybe even have a Starwars marathon
