Aren't cats lovely to photograph? I never tire of seeing a beautiful feline being photographed. You've captured this kitty in a way that makes him seem really sleepy and/or lazy. I think that's great, because I don't usually see cat photos with this kind of mood. The colours you've used help create that lazy sundayafternoon feeling, and you have a bit of hairlight going on that emphasises the fuzziness of the little fellow! I like the square format too, but I think the composition would have been etter if you left a bit more space below the cat's chin. A nice photo, nonetheless!

I think you did a really good job at capturing your cat's expression. (She/he?) looks completely at ease, like they're just about to doze off. The muted, pastel-like colours really enhance the dreamy feel and I like how you've made the shot a close-up of your cat's head, instead of shooting a full-body picture. Great work, all in all and the fact that even the hairs of the fur are visible makes me believe that you really paid attention to the details.
