This is a masterpiece, plain and simple.
I can't help but start spinning a twilight zone episode in my head,
something about a man trapped in a bomb shelter after a (possibly) false alarm for a nuclear war.

It's funny, I almost instantly recognized this as a piece of playground equipment, but at the same time it seems so far from anything that innocent. I think it's what you did with the color, and the visibility of the face.
It's very dark and sinister-feeling, kinda has that horror movie feel to it but also strikes me as an introspective look into the mind somehow, if that makes any sense at all.
This is a very deep and powerful shot, wonderful work!

I've seen those exact playscape modules on our local public playground -- complete with the round plexiglas porthole with the large rivets all around the rim. And quite a few McDonald's Restaurants have similar playscape modules.
I will never be able to take the kids to such a playscape again without thinking of this image!
