Description
Here's my latest Princess, Nala. I hope you guys like it. I really like this picture a lot because it's so much different than my other princesses. And I like how hardcore Timon and Pumbaa look.Story: Upon returning to Pride Rock, Simba confronts Scar in order to regain his kingdom. The fight between Scar and Simba takes a turn for the worse. Nala notices that Simba is in trouble and leaves the hyenas to the other lionesses. She rushes to the top of Pride Rock just in time to see Scar land the finishing blow to Simba. In a fit of rage, Nala attacks Scar viciously, ultimately throwing him off the edge of Pride Rock, avenging Simba's death. However, the hyenas have overwhelmed the other lionesses, leaving Nala as the only surviving lion in the Pride Lands. The hyenas see their chance to finally rid the land of the lions once and for all and begin to pursue Nala without hesitation. With the help of Timon and Pumbaa, the injured Nala makes her escape. The three of them continue to fight the hyenas at every chance they get in order to win back the Pride Lands while preserving the beliefs of Mufasa and Simba.
So yeah, I guess that's a believable twist to the story.

Me being a huge Lion King fan, this is my favorite out of your Twisted Princesses. ^_^ Personally, my favorite part is Timon. O,O

That's a surprisingly ... upbeat origin, actually, considering how feral all three characters look. I'm not sure if Evil Timon and Pumba are hilarious or horrifying, but I like them either way. Great work.

I have an idea for you. Do Jenny from Oliver and Company. She could be in her birthday dress tattered, with the 2 Dobermans on either side growling. Tito could be blackened with long fangs and sparks around him. It could be in New York under the full moon.
Here would be a possible story: Sykes commands the Dobermans to eat Oliver and Dodger and the other dogs. But Tito survives. She tames the Dobermans. Now she haunts NYC, as her revenge. It becomes feared by all who enter.

I've always been a huge fan of the Lion King. It's amazing when such a nice story can have a darker twisted side.

I'd like to imagine she's holding onto a piece of Scar's pelt. You know, after she hurls him off a cliff. Or maybe even Simba's to keep as a memoir of what he wanted to fight for.

I can't express just how happy this makes me. Nala is such a badass and unfortunately the movies didn't show too much of that.
But then, this is perfect. And making Timon and Pumbaa actually look threatening is a feat I'd have thought impossible!

I love your "Twisted" series. But somehow this with Nala... doesn't work while Timon and Pumba are there. Perhaps is that they have been too strongly established as comedic characters, whilst the other princesses and their side-kicks have some darker side or charm to them either because of their story (like with Alice or the Sleeping beauty for example), or because their characters have some room for darker interpretation.

I just assumed it was a reference to lionesses being the super-efficient hunters of the pride in real life when I saw this pic on buzzfeed. But this story works too.
