Description
A commission of a wonderfully complex and beautiful character that I had the great opportunity to illustrate. What really captured my imagination with this piece was the idea that with each step this character creates life in the form of plants which then wither and die as he moves on. Beautiful. Also the complexity of the markings were a delightful challenge.Character (c) his player

This is quite creative indeed! The character looks very unique, though the concept of the steps I believe originated from a character from the movie Princess Mononoke, where a spirit forest would have plants sprout around its steps, only to wither and die immediately afterward. Still a very lovely piece!
