Coyote Silverfist was raised as a Lightfoot, but her mother was a Ghostwise, (She has little to no exposure to the Ghostwise culture until later in life.) At a young age her Lightfoot clan was wiped out by werewolves, including her mother. She finds her mothers body and retrieves her sacred token, which is a glass vial of water on a silver chain necklace, she also takes her bandana style scarf. Her mother's ghostwise name tattoo was a particular source of comfort when she was an infant. Traumatized, Coyote obsesses over the tattoo and draws and/or scratches it everywhere, the solitude basically driving her insane. After a time she is rescued by the halfling monks of the Hin Fist. After finding a bit of balance, she eventually takes it upon herself to rid Faerun of all lycanthropes, occasionally working as a spy or tracker later on in her adventuring career. For the most part she is very cognizant and mentally stable, even compassionate, but some instances in combat may trigger her dissociative personality disorder, reverting her to her traumatized, feral, fight or die mentality.
