Description
Commission for of her allegorical figure of the deadly sin Lust.Oh, I forgot to mention, too, that this was another one of my color experiments. Warm light and cool shadow tends to be the general rule. I just upped the contrast, let's say, and did away with most of the local color. The original character hadn't been colored yet; I was allowed to pick my own. I ended up focusing on the quality and color of the light more than the color of the figure.

A most unusual depiction. And quite intriguing for it. If this was an experiment, I would say it paid off quite handsomely.

This picture is really amazing! I simply love your colour usage, it looks brilliant. The shading and lighting works really well, I love the reddish light source and the darker shadows on Lust's fur. Te fur looks very beautiful too, so flowing andsilky looking. The cloth is very nice too. I like how you did it, they way it is almost transparent is very nice. The flower is very pretty too.

u kno, thats pretty amazing. theres a shitload of good art on da. but this is definatley up there on the awsomeness scale. i gotta say i agree (to some extent) with ur opinion of main stream furry art. with the exception of a few particularly graphic pictures of what i can only describe as satan, all i draw are werewolves. i say werewolves cuz i startd drawing them a long time ago b4 i knew there was such a thing as "furry art." some of them are i guess typical of furry art but i usually try to avoid the stereotypical furry look. i also kinda agree bout the hordes of pepole that draw anthros that are supposed to be native american but in no way really are. i do really appreciate it when some one actually knows about their culture and display it in their stuff.
