Description
The sketch of this drawing was created in 2018 and I found it days ago looking for a drawing ..... and I decided to finish it.Β Line Art reference: An Audrey Hepburn picture.
This drawing was created using a piece of paper, various types of graphite pencils and erasers, and a brush to blur some areas.
I have worked 4 days to finish it, approximately 14 hours of work.
It hasn't been easy because without reference everything is more difficult to pinpoint both the perspective, the areas of light and shadows and not in the last place the expression of the model. A combination of all these factors is needed for a good final result.
It has been difficult, but I am happy because I achieved my goal.
There may be errors, that I don't see them, but with practice I will annihilate them in time.

Not using any reference really shows in this piece, unfortunately. You'd probably do GREAT if you just used some.
References by the hundreds are how professional artists do their work, not using any is nooooooot exactly anything to brag about.
On a second note, it's amazing how there's so many details that almost perfectly with the original picture of Audrey Hepburn painting in a bonnet, though not sure what the proper name of it is.

Yeah, as I mentioned in the bio this sketch was done long time ago and I forgot about it ... I didnβt remembered about the original photo and also I never wanted to draw Audrey here. As you mentioned, there are some details as in the original, but my drawing was done without using or looking in any moment to that picture as reference.Β
Maybe the line art was created using a similar picture. But only the line art
