Here is a 95th birthday picture for famous director, producer and writer Arthur Rankin, Jr., who was the founder of Rankin/Bass with Jules Bass, made lots of beloved holiday programs from my wonderful childhood like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1964), Frosty the Snowman (1969), Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (1970) and The Year Without a Santa Claus (1974) and he also worked on the movie featuring one of my favorites Lady Amalthea, The Last Unicorn (1982), The Hobbit (1977), Return of the King (1979) and The Flight of Dragons (1982)! He even also worked on The New Adventures of Pinocchio, Tales of the Wizard of Oz, Willy McBean and His Magic Machine, The Daydreamer, Mad Monster Party?, The Wacky World of Mother Goose etc.Happy Birthday Arthur Rankin, Jr.!
