"Endless Possibility" - Sonic Unleashed OST

Just happened to listen to this song on a whim. It strikes differently from the perspective of a Christian believer to me.

I accept that I may not get to do everything I dream of here on earth. The numbered years feel very limiting as they pass by. Already a quarter past the average time it seems.

This is my escape
I'm running through this world
And I'm not looking back

Imagination is often my little escape from the realities of this world. But I'm still here, and it feels like I'm running through it all so suddenly in my vanity. But there is an eternity to look forward to, so why look back?

"And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." - Luke 9:62

But how will I know when I get there?
And how will I know when to leave?
We've all gotta start from somewhere
And it's right there for me
The possibilities are never ending!

I feel I'll know it when I see those pearly gates.
An eternity with God in His paradise? How could I ever find it in myself to leave, even if I could?
I've had my start here on earth, and to think I can be redeemed and transformed by His grace.
I am clay, and He is the potter, there are so many possibilities just being in His hands. He can break me, but also forge me all anew. He can carry me to new purpose, and mold me as necessary. In His hands, possibilities are endless.

"I see it, I see it now
It's always been inside of me
And now I feel so free
Endless possibility!"

Often, I fail to consider the power of God that may manifest inside the man who has accepted Him into his heart.
But when I do, it puts sparks a hope and a sense of liberty that I can be someone different from the sinner I have come to be so familiar with in this body.

Drop n' stop, 'cause you're beaten again!
No, this is where my journey begins!
You're losing speed, you're losing your flow
But inside is a power you'll never know!
And let it out - it's inside you!
Better all stand back, 'cause I'm coming through!

We fall down, time and time again, yet by grace, we can continue.
The world keeps spinning, the lives of man coming and going, never able to keep up and never seeing their greatest dreams on earth come true.
But it is miraculous to consider eternity for us may start the moment we leave this world behind.
We're just passing through.
