In the shadows of a cosmic eclipse, a coven of warlocks aligned with the archfiends of the lower planes inscribed the Grimoire of Infernal Sorcery. It is bound with the desiccated scales of a fallen abyssal drake and marked with runes that thrum with the malice of the infernal host. The book is said to contain not only spells but also the secrets of binding and controlling demons, written in an eldritch script that bleeds darkness into the very air around it.
Properties of the Grimoire of Infernal Sorcery:
Abyssal Arcana: The wielder gains access to rare and potent demonic spells, able to cast one additional spell of each level per day that inflicts fear or corruption.
Embers of the Pit: The wielder can invoke the grimoire's power to enshroud any area-of-effect spell in the essence of the abyss, causing the spell's radius to increase by 5 feet and the damage to linger as embers for 1 round after.
Covenant of Resilience: When making pacts or agreements with demons, the wielder of the grimoire is granted advantage on any related Charisma checks, reflecting the infernal authority the tome confers.
