Every time there was a big bolt of lightning I seemed to be looking the other way :/ Oh well at least I got one

A very lovely capture this! The colours are absolutely beautiful, and even though it's pretty amazing that you caught an image of lightning like this, the thing I like the most is the lights from houses(?) in the bottom of the picture. Of course, the sky looks great also, lit up by the lightning like that!

Hahaha! Taking photos of lightning. How much does that make a person feel that the world is timing things for just when the ccd isn't exposed. You got one though, and at at 100 speed, very fast! I had to take half a second exposures to get lightning before, and I only got two bits out of a few hours in the rain. This is very nice.
