Description
New San Salvador, El Salvador.Festivals attract a lot of different people, even a small scale festival like the one in this photo. I was intrigued when I saw this street performer from country-side make art out of trash and even more when I saw the TV crew. I saw this contrast of old versus new, city person versus rural person, that I just had to take the photos. I tried to utilize the cameraman's spotlight to the best of my ability and that allowed me to really pull down the exposure for this shot and still have an eye-catching spot on the picture.

I think my favorite thing about this is the perspective, like a scene from a movie.

That lighting in the very dark place is quite clear. I just can't guess the light source; from the person at left bottom or directly from camera flash, or maybe both. This is very interesting

Wow, this is "sick"(that means really good, in case that isn't clear) for lack of a better word or phrase. I love the numerous textures, contrasts and light and shadow in this photo as well as the expression on the street performer's face. You got an amazing photo, you definitely have talent!
