Krayken was the first Swap Force member to be fully planned but then they decided to tweak him a bit to make him look more amphibianish and be a core Skylander. This is when Bubble Trouble was considered (and they were considering either Jonah Hill (Snoutlout from How to Train your Dragon), Ryan Renolds (Deadpool) or Michael Rosenbaum (The Flash from Justice League 2001) to be the voice. However, they decided to remake him into a fish fighter and name him Riptide and some of his other abilities were delivered to Punk Shock and Wash Buckler.

I feel like reviving this character. Think of him as a non-dragon substitute core Skylander for Echo.
