This is based on a semi truck that is only seen once and never again in the film. But can be seen more in the behind the scenes documentries often included with Fury road. furyroadvehicles.blogspot.com/… Not to throw shade but the truck is most deffinately a mack NOT A FORD. I have written to the owner if the blog and they refuse to correct themselves even when presented with photos of the truck as it is now which absolutely a mack truck. But to say I know for sure what make and model is not clear at this time. The most likely answer is it's a 1970ish RS model part of the R line of Macks. I put a lot of work into this truck to get her up to spec but even I had to leave one one of the last details. There is a structure on back that is sceen in the documentries but there is too much dust to tell what it is and the only person in the films production who would know has no known contact information, not even a linkedin.

So while I tried my best make what I think was there, it all looked bad so I scrapped that final detail. But everything else is screen accurate while being gameready. Thought it's barely seen in the movie I find this truck very fascinatiing. and before you ask no there was nothing doing inside the truck like you see with other vehicles in the movie. This was barely seen so why dress it it up beyond what you see outside? it's also notable that the side fuel tanks are different on each side as are the side mirrors.
