This series of paintings is a continuation of my experimentation journey of fusion between Islamic and Japanese culture, evolving from my previous artworks on Enso-Noon and from my personal experience in Japan. It’s my art as well as my own spiritual journey. I have always contemplated how to create the fusion between two cultures, the Oriental culture and the Islamic culture and show the common ground between them. This journey reflects the harmony, beauty and the commonalities that can exist between two cultures. It also inspires to start a dialogue that can lead to openness, tolerance, acceptance and hence peace. Both the letter Noon and the symbol Enso have a similar form and composition, depicting the same symbolic, abstract and mystical significances. They both symbolize utter enlightenment, elegance, strength, centralization, growth, protection, development, the universe, and the void.

تعد هذه السلسلة من الأعمال الفنية التي تعتبر استمرارا لرحلتي وتجربتي الفنية المنطلقة من إدماج الثقافة الإسلامية واليابانية التي تطورت ونمت في أعمالي الفنية السابقة أنسو – نون enso-noon ومن خلال تجربتي الشخصية التي عايشتها في اليابان حيث لم تكن مجرد رحلة فنيةفحسب، بل رحلة روحية ومعنوية.

ومنذ رجوعي من اليابان فكرت طويلا في كيفية خلق الاندماج والانصهار الثقافي بين الحضارتين الشرقية واليابانية وإبراز الأرضية المشتركة بينهما لمواصلة رحلة البحث الفنية.

فهذه الرحلة تعكس التناغم والجمال والقواسم المشتركة التي تتوافر في الثقافتين، كما أنها تلهم المعنيين لبدء حوار يمكن أن يؤدي إلى الانفتاح والتسامح والقبول وبالتالي يتحقق مفهوم السلام.

وثمة ملحوظة مهمة في التماهي بين حرف النون والرمز إنسو Enso ، حيث لكليهما الشكل والتكوين نفسهما، ولهما نفس الدلالات، وتصوران نفس المعنى الرمزي والتجريدي والصوفي، وكلاهما يرمزان إلى التنوير، والأناقة، والقوة، والمحورية، والنماء، والحماية، والتنمية، والكون، والفراغ، والغيبيات
