In this series of pictures I made, we will take a look at a world where all of humanity has vanished, and the animals we once kept as pets, for food or in zoos have taken over.

In this scene, we see what used to be a vacant lot in the city, having completely been taken over by trees and smaller plants. Here, in the shadows of this "forest" lives an assortment of birds and animals who find refuge; from the majestic peacock, to the critically endangered Kakapo. For you see, this unkempt stretch of land is the only refuge these forest animals have, for the rest of the city is infested with predators, pollution, and other animals competing for the same food sources.
