ahh well all the multimedia courses over here are internet based.. epecially the uni one. it has a unit in internet history lol.. can u believe it?

mmm i dont think ill be having a schoolies. cos i took up an extra yr 11 subject so i could get a special award lol. go me.
so i have another extra month at school. oh well its the price u pay i guess. its my goal/dream to get the award so i have to put up with no schoolies.

That sucks how you dont get to do much arty stuff in multimedia. I was considering doing it until i noticed how much it is based on the internet hehe.

I actually havent had much time to do art either. so much bloody school work lol. and my only art at school so far this year has been sculpture.. so poo. and we have corel photopaint at school so i just DONT touch that hehe.

otherwise mmm school has pretty much been all thats in my life this whole year. even my holidays are filled with school work. =c(

only a few months to go i suppose heh =c)
then i have to figure out what im doin next yr

Thanks, I use it for a nice swirly-brush kind of effect. It works rather well. That piece in particular used only the letter K, and it's actually the same portion I cut out, repeated over and over.

I can show you some other stuff if you're interested, where you just take a scripty font, and apply it like that. You really get some nice effects from it, plus you have more control over it

Actually, it's a font called Porcelain that I sort of cut up and mutilated to get my desired effect. I'd be happy to point you in the right direction and give you some tips on reaching that kind of an effect.
