I happened to see your "Mythbuckers" comics in the "Comics" section of #Watchable-Ponies. I'm a big fan of the Mythbusters, so I was hooked enough to poke around your gallery for more. I saw the "Classroom Follies" series, and really liked the off-the-wall humor. Then I saw somewhere in the comments that you were an engineer, and I saw that you used the proper equations for kinetic energy in Scootaloo's Rainboom math, and thus I proceeded to SCRAM for the +watch button.

Yeah, GiTS was the first "real" anime I watched (since I don't think Pokemon counts). Previously I'd disliked the genre for its tendency to be overly loud, high-pitched, and be littered with face-faults and sweat-drops. The decided lack of such things in GiTS - along with its "Criminal Minds for Geniuses" plotline - got me hooked. As for pics, I prefer ones depicting her kicking ass (and looking good at the same time), rather than just standing there in an awkward pose going "look at me, I'm smexy!"

Yeah, Motoko is one of the strong, intelligent lead female anime characters. Anime comes in many genres, Drama, Action, comedy, horror, and Cute. Then there are the wierd one that mix elements of 2, or 3, or in some cases all of them... I refer the drama/action ones myself, like GITS, and Robotech, and Gundam.
