About your pics, it seems you have post-edited the landscape and monument series ... why not have a try on the portraits ???
You seem to be good on retouching photos smoothly, so why not ???

Hey Clay,
A few of my shots are HDRs, but most of them only have slight contrast, saturation and exposure modifications. I like to keep my pictures close enough to authentic. I haven't ever really done some portrait retouching. Actually I haven't done many portraits at all. I'm starting to get the hang of it.
I do a lot of graphic design which I don't post on deviantART, I might start editing some portraits soon and upload them, who knows.
As for your pic, it's very nice and well captured. I think spontaneous shots are the best. I haven't done many portraits like I said before, but I'd like to make some shots that are nice and true like your picture.

Well, if it were for that, not even Mozart, who had influences from Bach and others could be called original, nor modern artists from Van Gogh, etc. You get my point
