Made with Mandelbulb 3D. I absolutely love this little 3d fractal app. I don't have a clue what I'm actually doing, but just fiddling with numbers and seeing what you get is like exploring a different world for the first time.This is essentially what came out of the renderer, which is amazing! It was imported into Lightroom and then exported. I didn't even hit the Auto button.
As for "Symbolism", I see a lot of things in this one if I look really hard.
