I don't really have any local petstores that sell rats, so I got mine at petsmart because they seemed to be well taken care of and happy, and I bought brothers which was good (:

eh, well, it's not ideal but my favorite pet shop only had feeders (most babies still suckling) and the nearest shelter or rescue was like 6 hours away
